Mad Max Fan Community

There are Mad Max fans worldwide, from Australia to Germany, the United States to Japan. The internet has helped bring so many of us together with our common interests, and helped form various groups and events along the way. If you're looking to meet up with some other fans, this page is here to help you do just that.

On this page you will find information on some of the bigger groups, and on the more regularly held events. If you're involved with a group or event that isn't listed here and that you think should be, please do let me know.

Firstly, for events, always be sure to check the Mad Max Events page. I'll always try to post any upcoming events here, from club meetings to movie screenings, anything Mad Max. Secondly, check out the links page. Here you'll find links to places like the MFP Clothing Branch in Japan, and a variety of other club discusion forums and groups. Below is some information on some past events, to give you an idea of some of the events various groups have organised, and to let you know what to look out for in future.

In Australia "Back 2 The Max" has organised or helped organise several reunion events in Australia - from the 21st Anniversary of Mad Max 2 (The Road Warror) in 2002, to the 30th Anniversay of Mad Max in Little River in 2008, and several appearances at Easternats and similar events in between. See the Back 2 The Max web site for some additional information, and some photo galleries of past events.

Also in Australia, the Z-Owners Motorcycle Club has organised several bike runs over the years, including most notably the Mad Max 25th Anniversary Ride. You can find a photo gallery for the Mad Max 25th Anniversary ride here. It was an awesome day - waiting in anticipation for the next one!

In the United States, first and foremost, be sure to check out Roadwar. Karol has been running this event since 2004, and it just keeps getting bigger and bigger. Check out the web site at Also at the same site you can now find information for the new Wasteland Weekend events that are now being run.
