further work continues it may not look like much and I get that but in the end this is what I was able to do while I was sick.

back end of the hemi is done. working on the front and side attatchments and so she'll be coming together quiet nicely and I dare say is probably the first hemi 256 to ever be featured correctly in gta. closing in on finally finishing this model up so I can get back the car in full. anyyyyyways. tanker time.

got the stupid first part of armor to work right in 3d max. so it's installed after much cursing and fighting. closer to being done but still got a long ways to go.

anyways I have spent time thinking about the junk trailer from the opening. that said it's really the cloth that's being an issue right now. but not for long. I'll tackle it sooner or later so that I can get back to the junk.

speaking of junk I will be working on the hd updates for the no front fender statemen and the poppagellos car. the latter of which is likely to get a full on rebuild to me more accurate to the body groves and all. we shall see. point is I am hard at work again so we'll see what can come of all this hard work.

working on the HD updates on two models. so I am taking some time to finish those up as you'll see and read.

not shown but worked on : the no front fender statesmen is been prepped for the update. I deleted the basic wheels I had cause they had no real definition. new rims to and wheels to be made. I am also updating the indoorway frames to be more accurate. the rest will be making parts of the engine more defined and add in actual mesh.

next I worked on actual work on poppagellos/lonewolf car: lifted the exhausts to match where they should be and added in a mesh on the back. the mesh isn't exactly the right size so I have to remake it tomorrow. I also widened the bumper and removed the back face of the car as I got a great screenshot from the blu-ray. here's a look at what got done.

work left to be done:
rebuild the wheels
rebuild the body segments to include more detail
rebuild the grate in back.

this is important because both this and the statesmen don't have much to do to make them game worthy. so I'll be focusing on them while I finish up the tanker...speaking of....

the tanker:

I reached the limits of detail I can do on the tanker armor. so the back pannel you see on the side armor is blank save for the holes that were made for the armor supports. this is on purpose because the real metal peices used near the back of the armor on both sides has thousands and I meand THOUSANDS of tiny holes in it. it overwhelms my system to try to punch them out of the metal myself so it's damn near impossible to make it happen. so it'll had the wholes skinned on it. which is fine and I think it looks okay it's just one little detail that my computer cannot handle.

still looks nice right?

things left to do:

rebuild the bottom oil spout
do the mesh leading up to the back car rear end on the back of the tanker
mesh for the top of the trailer caps
barbed wire
barbed wire holders
the armored turrets on the front and back top of the tanker

so as you can see there isn't much left to be done on the tanker either so I'll be finishing her up with the HD facelifts and we'll have a better mod.

that said at this point I am rebuilding the body and the wheels. as the wheels work for what they are but as far as sunraysia's they aren't up to snuff. so I researched the legendary hubcaps and will make new ones from scratch. this is will be the first model finished in 2014 as I work to finish this model up by the end of this weekend.

I am happy I decided to rebuild this old warhorse cause it's becoming a new favorite of mine. I think it's keen old gal and I will enjoy the sense of pride this model will have given me when she is completed.

I hate to bring this up but some elements in the fandom just burn me up. one said they are happy to have high standards. and someone qouted and +1'd them. I don't understand the purpose of this. because this person and their +1er would look at the new mad max game and decide that the movie isn't worth it. even though the movie and game are not connected at all. you can call it high standards all you want but to be so bold and proud to be that ignorant is just so disgusting. I see why Emil Minty,and even Adrain who runs the mad max museum doesn't post here much. I've seen much of the mad max alumni (such as those who worked on the original trilogies vehicles) damn near chased off this site by people with this kind of rediculious high standards. when I point out that you are also the reason why people really don't want to invest much in the liscense you just smile and act like this is an achievement. you have litterally spoiled so much of this for the rest of us...and yet you are proud of this. I have no respect for people who are so fanatical about mad max that they kill the love the rest of us share for this series. I love the original robocop a lot. I still gave the new one a chance and sadly it did tend to dissapoint but not for the reasons I expected it might. the point is I still gave the film a shot. and more over I used to be just like you. but then I grew up and realized how embarassing I was. and I changed and how I have more fun in life. sure I wasn't a fan of the new mad max movie designs. but I got over and and even love some of them a lot.

but I know. till people like the mentioned above grow up and be adults. then my pleading to the fandoms worst elements will fall upon deaf ears. but I am wondering how much longer I wish to stay here myself. not all the forum is bad. but many are. and they make it not worth it to do this work. work I might add that it seems only a yank is doing. I wish I wasn't alone in making Australian muscle for games. but somehow I seem to be the only one who cares enough about these cars to want to see them played out in gaming present and future. and it saddens me that more of you aren't modeling with me. hell even 3D wayne seems to have stopped his 3D works which is a shame. because when I look at model repositories where one can pay for 3d models...I see very few if any Australian models. and it pains me. because I don't get why the american fan is the one doing the modeling for you. have you guys no pride in your cars? I can download thousands of ford mustangs,dodge chargers and even plymouth belvedres....but I cannot find many ford falcons,valiant chargers or even desotos.

you find it an insult that me and american is making some of your cars. sometimes you hate it because you swear I put the drives side on the wrong side to "americanize" your cars never once thinking that the driver might clip through the car if I do it the right way round. thus why I sometimes have to sacrafice the right driver side for what functions. all the while you bitch at me and spit on me for this and yet you aren't making the cars you aren't showing the world through gaming what beautiful and powerful cars you have. and yet I am in the wrong here?

so call me what what you will. I don't care. spit on me somemore. at least I am making your cars. and will continue to do so because you won't do it for yourselves. and that's cowardly. because I know some of you have the talent and others the drive and yet you do nothing with it. nothing but complain. you are the problem and yet you are the solution to this as well. but again this will all fall on deaf ears. my time here is probably limited. not many of you even care that I am doing this hard work and trying to be as authentic as I can with your cars. but none of it matters. and I've tried to just ignore it because at least AussieMuscle and a few others of your actually help or support me. but there comes a time when you see why others left. I love this place. it used to be such a great place to post and talk. but now. I just don't like what it's become. and when I see people proud to be bad fans. it sickens me because you are shitting on the true spirit of what it is to be a fan of mad max.

working on the sunraysia wheels as we speak. I've doubled the poly of the older version and so far the results are coming out pretty spot on as you can see below.

now the voting part for those few who actually read these posts. as you may or may not know there are subtle differences between the lone wolf and poppagellos car in the final chase scene. as it stands I plan to only make poppagellos version but if the fans vote for it I'll make the lone wolf version as well. so vote yes for two versions or no for only one version.

lone wolf is done as far as modeling goes. I have an HD version and a lower poly edition for those who don't have heavy gaming pc's.

obviously the less defined one is the low poly model.

on interesting not I found is that the popagellos car and the humongus truck both have a t-handle shifter. they both opposing forces and leaders for the opposite side. symbolisum? maybe or maybe just what they had to work with. but I find it interesting. anyways onto the next model.

I've done extensive work on the Lord Humungus truck both sd and HD sadly I become very ill as of late and at least for the next few days to a week I am unable to work.

My body hurts all over,and as I painfully type this, my hands and arms are numb. which isn't a good sign. it means I can't get any work done right now and if it's not something that can be fixed then I may have to have someone else take over modeling duties for me which is not something I wish to do but I may not have a choice. when I told you all I was sick I wasn't kidding around this isn't just a simple -cougho- -cough- kind of thing. I am getting checked out tomorrow as I couldn't get in today but this is hell. imagine your every movement is filled with emense body pain all over. now imagine you can't sleep even when you are tried. I think you get the idea I am in deep pain and right now lifes not much fun for me.

here's to hoping this will pass and I can resume my work on the mod. cheers everyone.

okay so a lot been going on and most of it is bad at this point. I know I could look up where I last left off but for now let's just say many developements have happened. we lost our old school gta modder,but we gained on works in gta IV and hopefully from there we can move much of the project to the upcoming pc release of GTA v.

I am not in a place where I have control of my internet. which sucks because we have had to have a major new firewall set up. and it blocks the word "Movies" making this site inacessable to me 95% of the time. sometimes the protection lapses like right now and so I am taking this oppertunity to say that it's likely I won't be around much not because I do or don't like this place but because I am blocked until I move in with my Fiancee up in canada. out cable company is squeezing us for everything so the firewall is in reponse to them claiming we are streaming too much. which is bullshit but fuck it no one seems to care about the monopolies down in my area.

much of road warrior is done. I am currently making the andamooka buggy which is comming out surprisingly well. I plan to keep on with thunderdome as I also work on reworking our old xa.
