Interceptor evolution diorama

Postby mahenoguy » Mon Apr 10, 2017 6:28 pm

Here are some pics of a diorama I'm working on showing the evolution of the interceptor . The Fury road version was just finished although i've had the MM2 version for a while . Next I was going to build the MM1 version and was watching hetzers thread for tips but reading the drama's he's having i was thinking of cheating and waiting for the 1:24 greenlight version of the original due out later this year . I will now focus on the razor cola ( again , i gave the last one away ) going with dda metal body as a base kit .

Nicely done, are you tempted to add MM1 and Razor Cola for a "complete set"?

hi Turbofurball , already working on Razor cola ( well i've ordered the base model off ebay anyway ) I was going to build MM1 version as well but given the current cost of the Aoshima kit and the fact that greenlight are due to release a 1;24 original version later in the year , I was thinking of holding out until to see how accurate the all new tooling will be . cheating in a way i guess . thanks for your interest .

Thats cool, good luck in your project :)

(and, of course, there's always the 4-door Interceptor and camel wagon too if you get bored :P )

I bet doing the camels would be a total PITA, though

Fascinating to look through the details. Brilliant work. Thanks for sharing it.
