I was scoping out the autoarts Interceptors, clean vs dirty. The problem from what I could tell in pics is with the dirty ones they seem sort of just flatly airbrushed. The weathering is very even, and so maybe not worth the extra $$.

I wound up buying the clean autoarts 1:43 scale set and am going to see what I can do to dirty them up. I'm hoping acrylics will stick to whatever type of paint was used (enamel probably).

Bit late for an answer, but the upgraded muddy version is done much better than the original muddy version. Both are mega money now though
