Road Warrior display

Postby tk4013 » Sun Jun 17, 2012 11:10 am

Well my Road Warrior costume has been done for awhile now, however I had been wanting to do a display for it in my prop room and need a mannequin. I finally got around to it and am pretty happy with it. I have it next to my santrooper, Boba Fett and Ghostbusters costumes. The mannequin came with a little pillar to sit on however I thought a old gas tank was much more fitting. I used 2 part putty to sculpt the swollen eye and the airbrushed to details.

Looks awesome. But the knife is missing from the right boot.

I recall someone on here making resin copies. I think Dave (HumveeDriver) bought one. Drop him a IM.

Yeah Max Replica makes them, but last I heard he was out of stock. I should have got one when I had the chance but was on a tight budget at the time. I'll probably just buy a real one down the road.

Too cool! (I like the drive-in speakers.)

Also, I like the subtle weathering on your sandtrooper. I've never understood why the special edition sandtroopers look like they've been rolling in mud. It's a dry, sandy planet!

Nice job on all your costumes. I'm extremely jealous.
