The lower spoiler on the NR car was actually the same as the yellow pursuit cars (which means it doesnt really suit the monaro as it was designed to fit the XB Falcon only).

I do recall seeing adverts for the two piece bonnet scoops same as the monaro for sale in old car magazines.
I would do a search online for old school scoops and see what comes up. Particularly in the USA.
We are 100% snafu....

The lip on the night rider car is pretty similar to the one I have.

Mine is a cut down HZ GTS front skirt.

The bonnet cowl is a shortened camaro one.

The rear off the actual car appears to be the same as Bob Jane's old touring car.

My one is a stock HX LE spoiler. Slightly shorter but much easier to find than a touring car wing.

Beautiful man.

The Falcons look real good after you fix them up, but I think the Monaro's have the best looking natural lines on an Aussie muscle car.
I haven't seen them all, but I'd rather have a stock Monaro then a stock Falcon.
They just look cool.

I actually like the quad headlights even though it looks like you'll have to change them.

I'm a big fan of the quad headlights normally, and this car came with them from the factory but I think the single light front looks better on the coupes anyway. Will get one and see how I like it I reckon.

Thats starting to take shape now :!: are you going for a clean look with the build or the cars final chase down blue and battered :?:
The chain in those handcuffs is high-tensile steel, it'll take you ten minutes to hack through it with this, now if your lucky ? you can hack through your ankle in five minutes. Go !

Firewall is mostly repaired, original one was chopped out to recess the motor at some point in its long and dirty history :P

Disapproval from the muttley is strong.

I'm going for battered look but not trying to replicate every dint from the movie. Won't be a 100% spot on replica, just building it for me :P

Thats looking good!

So have you got a donor with a rotten frame to nab all the other bits off?
Whoever they send here, we're gonna catch 'em, we're gonna cook 'em, and we're gonna eat 'em!

I don't have another monaro to rob parts off but so far 3 vans have given their parts to help as well as lots of parts off a mate of mine such as the doors.

He has a couple of rotten coupes for spares for his good ones, so I managed to buy some bits off him :P
