it would turn on and off with a lil electric motor in side the blower

on the movie car when the blower is switched on they are just starting the engine as it is connected to the lower pulleys, via a small belt,
and when turning off they are just shuting the engine down

when its first fired up the blower revs with the engine in the movie

there is no way a 671 blower can be turned off and on when its a real one

i have an old V blower on my buggy and mine is connected with a long blower belt as per a real supercharger, if you look at the FX in the pics of one a the cars for madmax4 i have the same blower, but mine has a bracket made for the blower mounting, with the FX ute it seems to be on a tunnel ram. mine cant be turned on and off..
i prefer it to rev with the engine...

The whine you hear is caused by the tension in the large belt, not by anything else.

Some people have used an airconditioning clutch (as was the case in MM1) to drive the blower belt.

Thanks for posting this. Apparently the sound of a real blower is like the one of a supersonic plane. Amazing car btw.
