Hey Jeff,

Can't wait to see the Torana when it is finished. I'm sure it's going to be a monster. The Interceptor is running great now, although I might have an issue with head and my starter. Never had the problem before but my last run with it, the starter had to cool down before it started. I put heat tape and stuff around it so that might help. The damn thing is an 1/8 of an inch from the header. And the header is all bashed in around the starter. It was an aftermarket American header I was told would work on the Falcon, only to find that it didn't. So the muffler shop banged the hell out of it to make it fit. That's why I'm looking for a used set of Australian headers.

Hope all is well. I'll let you know if we end up shooting this short or not.

Thanks Paul ! The Torana is making progress and I am sure looking forward to it being done too!
I'm just going along with each part of the car and it is getting there.

Hopefully the heat shield helps on your starter. Maybe use some header wrap around the close tubes as well ?

I just built the headers for the Torana and I will be wrapping them as well since they come close to the steering and starter too.. (much less room in the engine bay then the Falcon I'd say  )

Paul,
Your car looks great. I had never though of having some professional photos done of mine but you have inspired me with that shoot you did with Douglas Sonders.
Well done.
Very bloody cool.

Speaking of which, this sounds like a great idea for the RW Event: Get your picture taken by a pro with your choice of vehicles. :D

Oh, and what's happening with the fan film?

Hey guys,

Well, it looks like the fan film is a no go. Not enough interested parties, thus, I was unable to raise the funds needed for a good, solid Mad Max Fan Film. I'm not interested in shooting that doesn't have some quality to it and unfortunately, that takes some money.

But for those of you who did express an interest, thank you very much. Sorry I couldn't pull it off.

Paul

P.S. Thanks for the compliments on the Doug Sonders photo. He really is a great guy and his technique is amazing.

Damn. Can I still send you a script? ;)

Douglas Sonders's photos are AMAZING! I'm a big fan of this shoot (for a few reasons): http://douglassonders.wordpress.com/200 ... oot-in-ca/

And if you look around a little, you can find some pictures with a certain Pursuit Special...
