Spike Lee's list of great movies that he feels aspiring film makers must see includes both Mad Max and Road Warrior.

Surprisingly, Mel Gibson's Apocalypto is also on the list.

Why surprisingly? I thought Apocalypto was very well done - really liked it. I think unfortunately a lot of people didn't see it, because it got released around the same time as Mel started his downward spiral in the media, but I always thought this one was well worth a look.

A little video of Mel Gibson about MM4. He can't say much, but for what it's worth

"UNDERSTEER" is when you hit the fence with the front of the car.
"OVERSTEER" is when you hit the fence with the rear of the car.
"HORSEPOWER" is how fast you hit the fence.
"TORQUE" is how far you take the fence with you.

In 2007, the french press quote a part of an interview Miller gave to the Australian Press. He said that : "Mel now seems more interested in directing movies, drunk driving, and finish Hitler's work"
But I don't find any sources about that. Does that sounds familiar to you ?
