Early one morning on a rural property in South Australia, I set up a video camera at the entrance of a goanna burrow. I pressed 'Record' and let the tape roll for about 40 minutes. Here's a short 56 second excerpt from that footage.

Indeed...no surprise that they're related!
Actually, over a year ago when I was camping on this same property, I was just about to step into my tent when I saw one of these guys right inside - sprawled out across the ground sheet.
