The interceptor isn't destroyed if they do a Mad Max 1.5 to fill in the gaps.

I always thought it would be interesting if Max were to stumble across a lost & forgotten prototype MFP pursuit special deep in the bowels of an abandoned Ford factory or something..... maybe a full-house XD sedan with a Group C bodykit & similar paint to his yellow interceptor.....or of course BLACK.

maybe that's exactly what he did between Road Warrior and Beyond Thunderdome? chopping off the back of the car, leaving the cab, adding a monster-truck suspension, and other whatnots just to make his vehicle? just a wild guess.

Yeah, I think the Truck he drove in MM3BT was really his Yellow Interceptor. Image

Really, though.. Unless MM4 is a Prequel the idea of finding operable, stock bodied cars in good condition is really, really ridiculous.

Anorak, Even.

Let's just go the Star Trek route and have some time machine or Wormhole bring back the car, Jessie, Sprog, Dog and maybe even Humungous, Toecutter and Wez just so we can have some villians that don't wear a Kubuki mask on a broomstick. Image

Yes, the Black on Black Intercept Special was a character in itself in the first two movies.

So was Jessie.

So was Goose.

So was Sprog.

So was Dog

They're all Jumped by Mister Dead.

These movies are about a MAN.

Not about a man and his car, his wife or his dog.

The Man's story goes on.

For those who don't want to see more of his story because a character met it's end... well, that's your call.

I'll watch the movie if & when it's filmed and released, and I'll give it a FAIR chance.

If I like it then, Cool.

If I don't like it then, oh well. It's just a Movie.

Won't be the first dissapointment, movie-wise, nor will it be the last.

yeah, times of BOB passed since Toadie took the cap off the tankers, so there's no way we're gonna see something like BOB anymore. I'm thinking that especially after MMBT it would be even more difficult to convey the fans, that normal cars remained somwhere in MM world. Maybe I;m wrong, maybe it was only Bartertown that was full of dune buggies, maybe there would be some other normal looking cars on the roads. I wonder how they worked that problem out, since MM4 is called 'Fury Road' (hard to imagine chase scenes with cars driving at 40mph because of the methane used instead of petrol).

The other thing is that I wouldn't want to see anything like another big chase scene, although i think that's a part of MM to end a movie like that. MM2 had a great chase scene, the best chase scene in the history of cinema IMO, MM:BT copied the idea, and that was a bad thing, they should push the idea forward at least, but they didn't. That's why i think that there shouldn't be any final chase scenes, either to keep the feel of MM, or to make up for the crappy MM:BT scene, that's why i wonder what MM4 would be like.

I have still many doubts about how it will all turn out, but I will certainly go and see this movie no matter what. It's still Mad Max. The title speaks for itself.

The B-O-B is gone forever. Unless they do a 1.5 with a younger actor.

I would like to see something where the guy who played Toecutter would be the villian but not Toecutter himself because, of course, he's dead. Something like when Bruce Spence was a different charactor in BT, but kind of the same charactor. Max could wander back home to find jessie partially recovered (she didn't die - max just left her there - Goose also) Civilization is trying to recover and bike gangs won't let it recover. It is there where we find Max's Yellow interceptor old and faded like Max himself . We also find Macaffee, Charlie and Roop trying to defeat the powerful gang.

Hmmm somehow I think if Max did return home to find Jessie and Goose alive they'd be pretty pissed off with him having buried them 6 feet (down) under as the opening scenes in MM2 showed. Hehehehehheheee

You can imagine the welcome home barbeque scene though can't you?

"Hey Goose want a slightly burnt sausage from the barbie mate?" "Uhhh no thanks Max."

I like the idea of the MM1.5. The story I'm writing is based upon that era... as is pretty much everybody elses fan fiction. That car was just too gorgeous to let die, so it lives now only in our... fan fiction.... and in the garages of those few fans around the world dedicated enough to have built one. .... If I ever won the lottery... >sigh<
