I think the time Max spend caged in the citadel is somewhat longer. How long does it take to get the body of a car that was in a serious rollover to look like new and do all the modifications. It doesn't matter how many man you have or how much equipment you have, it takes a serious lot of time. And the car was up and running on Max's 'first day out'.
Most of that time nothing interesting happens, so it is left out of the movie. But I think Max spend at least 1 or 2 weeks in the citadel. And than I'm optimistic.
"UNDERSTEER" is when you hit the fence with the front of the car.
"OVERSTEER" is when you hit the fence with the rear of the car.
"HORSEPOWER" is how fast you hit the fence.
"TORQUE" is how far you take the fence with you.

I disagree. They could have knocked the Interceptor back into shape pretty fast.

They have a huge workforce that would work 24/7. I don't know much about cars but they were already heavily stuck into fixing it up before Max was even ready for the Blood Banks.

That's something I hadn't noticed before... the Blower (Being lifted on the hoist) is a 6V-71 instead of a 6-71.

Supercharger 101:

A 6-71 blower is from a 6-71 diesel engine... That's a 71 cubic inch displacement per cylinder, straight six.

A 6V-71 blower is from a 6V-71, meaning a a 71 cubic inch displacement per cylinder, V-6.

The difference can be seen by the angled bolt bosses in the ribs on the side of the case.
the Straight six has a flat flange on the bottom of the case.

I'll have to have a closer look at the BoB BEFORE the Crash, and at Razor Cola after she's patched up..
Possibly a Flub?

---------------------------------

Just had a look.
Can't tell at all on the Interceptor, but Razor Cola DOES have the 6-V71 stacked on top.

Could be some corroborating evidence that the Interceptor is, as the Comics portrayed, a clone of the original BoB that Max, himself built.

I think I've touched on this before but several times during our Bathurst / Supercar V8 races here in Australia pit crews have rebuilt totalled cars overnight , it wasnt as badly damaged as the one in the second movie having only suffered a rollover on sandy soil , and a bit o movie magic thrown in as well

Re the blower I dont think they were expecting anyone to look that closely , the Interceptor is not even the one that crashed its another car altogether , note how there is no top wing so the War Boys can slide over the top during the chase
