Fury Road bikes... calling all FR production members.

Postby tehCal » Sun Jan 24, 2016 6:36 pm

Hey guys,

Recently, Artemis Flow and I compiled a list of all of the Fury Road vehicles and their makes/models.

We've managed to get photos of every car, along with the production codes of every vehicle, but we're still far off getting photos for each bike.

We know how many bikes there were, what type each bike was, and we have confirmed photos of maybe a third of them. But I was hoping that we might have some members of the production/stunt team on here who might have photos of some/all of the other bikes?

Here's what we have, and what we need. If you can help fill these missing photos in, or know someone who can, PLEASE let me know here. Any known nicknames for these bikes would be appreciated also.

Is it possible " No Plate " lost the . during translation ? so it would be No. Plate , No. as in Number which would make sense considering its look , if you notice they are mostly NSW plates

Possibly, I believe that name was from a French blog translated to English. It was quoted as "No Plate" and one of the others was quoted as "Gas Town". I will remove the nickname for now. But yeah, we need photos! I wonder if any of the bike fabricators or stunt riders would be contactable on Facebook or here.

I might be able to get you some info about the bikes + pictures from a few crew members, hopefully it'll complete the list. I'll keep you informed.

Love the Rock Rider #12's use of the golf bag!

Yeah, that was the work of Dane Hallett who was in the art department on Fury Road, he apparently found the golf bag lying at the side of the road :)

Thats a fantastic little tale, and throws more authenticity at the film ... all of the production behind the scenes threw so much into it!

The creativity of the props, art, vehicle department for Fury road never fails to outstand me. They went above and beyond.
