love heath but wouldn't of worked, would picked him to be the Gyro Captain if it he was a returning character for the film and personally would of picked Sam Worthington to play max if Hardy wasn't picked.

My favorite tidbit.

I came across Brendan McCarthy, the wonderful graphic artist from my island, who sent me some beautiful drawings. I said ‘Come along this is going to be a very visual film.’

We worked with a writer who is more senior. The writer looked only at the surface, Brendan was someone who dug deep into it, and when Brendan criticized his writing and said ‘It’s too superficial’ the writer said the fatal words ‘What would he know, he’s just a fucking cartoonist.’ And he was gone.


The only other writer I've seen attached to Mad Max 4 back in the day was Eric Blakeney, so I believe this is the writer to who Miller is referring.
