Just a few weeks to go now. I encourage all thinking of coming to make the effort. I have been to several events organsed by the back2themax group and they are all a excellent fan experience, and all different as I am sure this one will be. No doubt there will be bike fans, car fans, movie fans and a bunch of curious onlookers. If you miss out on the tickets you can still come, see the replicas and displays go on a tour and meet some of the crew, for me and others who have met Murray Smith it is hard to describe, he kind of talks and talks all super interesting stuff for a lunatic fan keen to hear from the man who worked on and owned the car for years. Just seeing replicas at the locations is worth the trip.
The sites are still almost identical to how they appear on film and it is a surreal experience to visit them.
I know that there are always those who regret coming to these events, so just do it! For those who are too far or cant come there will be photos posted I am sure.
I cant wait to see the look on the faces of the crew when they see the turn out for a movie they filmed here 30 years ago.
Apologies for those who saw the original thread but Iwill refresh the pics I put up a while ago as now the event is mention in unique cars magazines latest issue there are bound to be some newbies checking in to see what its all about.
Here are some pics you will recognise......
